Job summary

Integral Senior Living (ISL) is seeking a Cook to join our team in Visalia, CA. The role focuses on preparing hot and cold menu items across grill, sauté, salad-bar and service lines, with emphasis on proper portioning and consistent recipe adherence.

Ideal candidates have experience in Senior Living, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work weekends. This PRN position may progress to part-time or full-time opportunities within our growing California communities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Senior Living preferred.
• Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety required.
• Great organizational skills a must.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold menu items on grill, sauté station, salad-bar and service line.
• Ensure proper preparation, portioning and serving as indicated on the menu cycle and standardized recipes.
• Taste and assess food quality and palatability.

Our community is looking for a Cook to join our team.

Cook Responsibilities:

• Prepare hot and cold menu items which requires working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and on the service line;
• Ensure the proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes;
• Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability.
