Job summary

Trilogy Health Services, LLC is seeking a Cook to join our Shelbyville, KY team. You will prepare high-quality meals for residents, following established safety and sanitation standards, while creating a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities include scratch-made meal prep, inventory support, proper storage, and supervising dietary staff in the Food Service Manager's absence. A high school diploma and 1–2 years of cooking experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years similar cooking experience preferred.

• Prepare fresh scratch-made meals for residents according to planned menus and dietary guidelines.
• Assist the Food Service Manager with inventory control and ordering supplies.
• Properly store food and kitchen supplies to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
• Supervise and support Dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable.
• Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and ensure all kitchen cleaning tasks are completed.
• Prepare and stock snacks and standard pantry items for resident areas.
• Utilize technology and computerized systems to efficiently and safely create a great dining experience for our residents and families.

POSITION OVERVIEW
