Job summary

Habit Burger & Grill is hiring a part-time Cook to bring our signature burgers and fresh salads to life. You’ll rotate through Fryer, Broiler, Make-Up, and Quarterback stations, with comprehensive training on food safety and kitchen cleanliness to grow your skills.

You’ll work in a fast-paced team, learning standard recipes, safety procedures, and proper food handling while contributing to a positive guest experience. Competitive pay and benefits are provided where available.

Qualifications

• 1 year of food service experience preferred.
• Food Handler’s Card/Certification may be required according to local/state regulations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods according to standard recipes, handling multiple orders simultaneously.

We’ll train you on everything, including food safety and kitchen cleanliness, and help you grow your skills along the way.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS• Correctly prepare all foods served following standard recipes, working on several different orders simultaneously.• Restocks food items and kitchen supplies; stores and rotates food properly and safely.• Operate cooking equipment such as flat grills, char broiler, fryer, slicer, etc.• Comply with all established standards, including personal safety, food safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform.• Observe proper food preparation and handling techniques.• Keep work area neat and clean at all times; cleans and maintains equipment, cooking surfaces and utensils used in food preparation.BENEFITSWe are proud to offer competitive pay as well as career advancement opportunities and a referral bonus program.
