Job summary

The Pennant Group, Inc. is seeking a friendly Cook to join our senior living community in Tucson, AZ. You will prepare and serve meals, read recipes, and ensure high standards of sanitation and food safety for residents and staff.

The role requires at least one year of cooking experience, including short-order cooking, and Serv-Safe certification (or willingness to obtain). You will work with the Food Service Director to manage stock and presentation while meeting resident dining expectations.

About the Opportunity

Ensures efficient, timely, and friendly service to all residents and staff. Maintains proper sanitation and safety procedures and high quality food preparation and presentation. Orders, receives, and rotates stock in conjunction with the Food Service Director. Reads and follows recipes to ensure consistency of the product. Prepares and serves food items for breakfast, lunch or dinner as assigned. Assists with meeting or exceeding resident dining expectations. Is knowledgeable in food preparation techniques and presentation. Other relevant duties may be required or assigned by Supervisor.

• Willingness to learn new food preparation techniques and presentation.
• Knowledge of special dietary needs of residents and the required meal prep techniques.

Minimum Qualifications
