Job summary

Vergennes Grand Senior Living in Vergennes, Vermont is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and serve meals for residents, following established menus and recipes in a warm, resident-focused environment.

You will ensure food is cooked to proper temperatures, assist with special diet orders, maintain cleanliness and safety, and collaborate with staff to deliver a high-quality dining experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen environment, preferably in senior living or healthcare.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to resident dietary preferences and needs.
• ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain).

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our team. In this role, you will prepare and serve delicious, nutritious meals for our residents, ensuring that their dining experience is both enjoyable and meets their dietary needs. You'll work closely with the Dining Services Director and the kitchen team to follow established menus and recipes, while also maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

• Sunday, 10:30am-7:00pm
• Monday, 10:30am-7:00pm
• Tuesday, 8:00am-4:30pm
• Wednesday, 8:00am-4:30pm
• Thursday, 8:00am-4:30pm
