Key Responsibilities

1. Preparation and setup of steam tables for each meal.
2. Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
3. Taking temperatures of food served and documenting on temperature charts.
4. Communicating with lead cook or supervisor regarding items that need to be ordered.
5. Filling in for lead cooks when they are absent.
6. Preparing food according to specifications set by the production chart and recipe book.

Qualifications

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Must be able to read, write, and follow oral directions in English. Ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Must possess emotional stability to perform essential job functions.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Licensure/Certification: N/A

Experience: At least one year of experience in food service.
