Morning Pointe Senior Living in Tennessee is seeking a Prep Cook to join our kitchen team, crafting breakfast, lunch, and dinner with care for residents. Attention to detail and quality are essential as meals are something our residents look forward to daily.

You will operate with a team, follow recipes, maintain sanitation, and present yourself professionally while enjoying flexible scheduling and benefits designed to support staff well-being and growth.

Qualifications

One year of commercial kitchen/cooking experience.
Reliable transportation.
Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills.
The ability to lift 50 lbs.
The ability to use kitchen equipment safely
Able to stand for long periods of time

We Are Looking For

Prep Cooks are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their scheduled station whenever necessary including expediting food and assisting in the dish station. As part of a team-oriented environment, Cooks assist in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need.
