Job summary

Atria Senior Living is hiring a Cook to join our kitchen team and prepare meals for residents in a supportive, community-focused environment. You will build positive relationships with residents and coworkers, maintain a clean, safe kitchen, and follow recipes and schedules to deliver high-quality dining experiences.

A High School Diploma or GED and 1–3 years in hospitality or healthcare cooking are required; state food handler permits may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• One to three years of experience as a cook in hospitality or healthcare.
• Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or Company standards.
• Ability to read and follow recipes, guides, cleaning schedules and logs.

Responsibilities

• Join the kitchen staff in preparing and cooking food for our residents.
• Build positive relationships with residents, employees and coworkers.
• Understand that dining in the restaurant-style atmosphere can be the highlight of our residents’ day.
• Maintain the kitchen in a clean, safe and sanitary condition at all times.
