Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a Cook to join our kitchen team, preparing meals for residents in a warm, restaurant-style setting. You will help ensure delicious, nutritious dining experiences in a supportive community.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1–3 years of cook experience in hospitality or healthcare. A food handler permit is required where mandated, and you must be able to read and follow recipes, guides, and logs while keeping the kitchen clean and sanitary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience as a cook in a hospitality or healthcare environment.
• Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or Company standards.
• Ability to read and follow recipes, guides, cleaning schedules and logs.

Responsibilities

• Join the kitchen staff in preparing and cooking food for our residents.
• Build positive relationships with residents, employees and coworkers.
• Understand that dining in the restaurant-style atmosphere can be the highlight of our residents’ day.
• Maintain the kitchen in a clean, safe and sanitary condition at all times.
