Job summary

Trilogy Health Services in Sylvania, OH seeks a Cook to prepare and serve high-quality meals for residents, ensuring safety and sanitation standards and a positive dining experience.

You will assist the Food Service Manager with inventory, supervise Dietary staff when the manager is unavailable, set up service stations, keep areas clean, and use technology to support efficient meal service. A HS diploma and 1–2 years cooking experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years similar cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh scratch-made meals for residents according to menus and dietary guidelines.
• Assist the Food Service Manager with inventory control and ordering supplies.
• Properly store food and kitchen supplies to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
• Supervise and support Dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable.
• Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and complete kitchen cleaning tasks.
• Prepare and stock snacks and standard pantry items for resident areas.
• Utilize technology and computerized systems to safely create a great dining experience.

POSITION OVERVIEW
