Job summary

The Arbor Company is seeking a Cook to join our care-focused dining team. You will prepare meals, manage stock and ensure safe, clean kitchen operations in alignment with established recipes and menus.

You will collaborate with the Dining Director on prep, production and daily service flow, while supporting resident satisfaction and dietary needs in a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or training, or restaurant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation, portion control and cooking procedures.
• Experience with special diets and long-term care preferred.
• Experience with large batch cooking (100 people) preferred.
• Ability to maintain positive resident relations.

Responsibilities

• Provide food service and create meals using established recipes and menu cycles.
• Assist with stock deliveries, rotation of products and regulatory logs.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety standards per schedules and protocols.
• Communicate with the Dining Director on prep, production and flow of service.
