Job summary

Trilogy Health Services is seeking a Cook at US-IN-Shelbyville to prepare high-quality meals that support residents’ health and well-being. You will ensure safety standards are met while delivering a positive dining experience to residents and families.

Responsibilities include following recipes, assisting with inventory, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and supporting dietary staff as needed. The role emphasizes teamwork, quality meals, and adherence to sanitation guidelines in a long-term care

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years cooking experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and menu plans.
• Commitment to sanitation and safe food handling.

• Properly store food and kitchen supplies to maintain freshness and prevent waste.

• Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and complete kitchen cleaning tasks.
• Prepare and stock snacks and pantry items for resident areas.
• Use technology and computerized systems to create a great dining experience.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Cook you will play a vital role in preparing and serving high-quality meals that support the health and well-being of residents. You will ensure all food is prepared according to established safety and sanitation standards while creating a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh scratch-made meals using a recipe for residents according to planned menus and dietary guidelines.
