Job summary

Integral Senior Living is seeking a Cook to join our team in California. The role involves preparing hot and cold menu items across grill, sauté, salad-bar, and service lines, ensuring proper portioning and adherence to recipes.

You will taste and adjust quality, maintain food safety standards, and collaborate with team to deliver appealing meals for residents. Weekend availability is required; prior senior living kitchen experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in senior living is preferred.
• Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends.

Cook Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold menu items which requires working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and on the service line.
• Ensure the proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes.
• Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Senior Living preferred
