Job summary

Royale Therapeutic Residential Center in Santa Ana, CA is hiring a Cook to prepare meals that meet dietary requirements and safety standards. You will work as part of a compassionate team, following established rules and routines to serve residents with dignity and care.

How You Will Contribute to the Team

As a Cook, you will be responsible for the preparation of food following the established rules and regulations. You will prepare and serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance, ensuring they meet dietary requirements. You will be responsible for treating everyone with dignity, respect, compassion, and integrity. Must Have

• 1-2 years’ dietary experience, preferably in an acute or long-term care environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Food Safety/Sanitation course.
• Willingness to work beyond normal working hours, weekends, holidays, and/or on other shifts and in other positions when necessary.

Nice To Have

• Previous Cook experience providing services to multiple patients/residents preferred.
• Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing environment desirable.
