Job summary

Harborview-Health-System is seeking a dedicated Cook for a nursing home to prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and physician orders. You will communicate with the dietary services director and work with urgency to ensure meals are timely and satisfying.

Responsibilities include upholding food safety, following diet orders, and performing duties as assigned in a busy kitchen environment. Previous healthcare dietary experience is preferred and opportunities for career advancement

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care dietary setting is preferred
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, including diet orders and menus
• Must be able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods in a busy kitchen environment
