Job summary

Compass Connections is seeking compassionate individuals for a kitchen/food service role at our San Antonio facility. You will prepare meals according to approved menus, maintain sanitation, and operate kitchen equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 6 months of related experience, and fluency in English and Spanish. The position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with comprehensive benefits starting on day

Responsibilities

  • Maintain sanitary conditions in kitchen and dining areas to meet licensing and policy requirements.

  • Maintain knowledge of materials and equipment used in food preparation.
  • Implement safety protocols, evacuate with children and staff in emergencies.
  • Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold Compass Connections' standards.

Respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural and socio-economic characteristics.B. Provide excellent customer service using organizational and planning skills.C. Maintain the highest standard of personal hygiene.D. Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times.E. Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position.F. Distinguish small details and markings near the observer.G.
