MOKAS Coffee & Eatery, a JRI Hospitality Brand, seeks Cook Team Members to prepare high-quality food and drinks to MOKAS standards in a fast-paced environment.

We offer full-time and part-time roles with flexible schedules, a casual workplace, and opportunities to grow within the company. Compensation ranges from $9.00 to $11.00 per hour plus tips, with a company-provided uniform and a friendly team culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Ability to stand and move in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills required.
• Willingness to work all stations including lobby, front register, drive-thru, and kitchen.

Cook Team Member Select Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Hospitality focused, preparing and delivering food and drinks to guests that meets or exceeds guest expectations with a sense of urgency.
• Prepares food and drinks with quality, taking his/her craft seriously, ensuring the presentation meets MOKAS standards and is an item the team can be proud of.
• Takes pride in all aspects of their work, whether making sandwiches, brewing coffees, accomplishing other tasks and/or focusing on cleanliness.
• Attentive in the Restaurant, sensing customer needs and keeping their manager and fellow team members informed on an ongoing basis.
• A collaborative team member, always willing to play a role in making the work environment a warm and welcoming place.
• Recognizes how critical cleanliness and safety are to the Guest experience, the quality of the product and the success of the Restaurant.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years or older. Successful team members consistently demonstrate exceptional hospitality and guest service, dependability, attention to detail, initiative, and teamwork.
• Ability to stand and exert fast-paced mobility during the work shift, have good sense of balance, be able to bend and kneel.
• Have the ability to lift and move items frequently weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills are required.
• Willingness to work all stations including the lobby, front register, drive-thru, and kitchen positions
