Job summary

New Horizon Foods in Rochester, MN is seeking a Cook to join our team. The role offers 7a-7pm shifts, seven days a week, with am/pm coverage and rotation of weekends and holidays. Daily pay is available and the crew offers a supportive, mission-driven environment focused on service.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent customer service, and the ability to work on their feet for extended periods. Experience in cooking and kitchen tasks is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in cooking and kitchen tasks is required.
• Minimum one year of full-time cooking experience with references.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation and food storage.
• Maintain health code compliance in the kitchen.
• Present food attractively and serve residents and guests.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests.
• Clean and sanitize the kitchen and dining areas.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Follow menus and recipes on site.

• Assist maintaining all health code regulations in kitchen
• Ensure that all food is presented in an attractive and appetizing manner
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen and dining areas
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
• Follow provided menus & recipes onsite

Requirements:
