Presbyterian Healthcare Services is hiring a full-time Cook at Presbyterian Rust Medical Center in Rio Rancho, NM. The position offers a Weekday Schedule (Monday-Friday) and a compensation range of $16.36–$24.26 per hour.

Typical duties include preparing hot and cold meals, grab-and-go options, and large-batch items while following menus and maintaining high quality and presentation. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of experience in high-volume food preparation

Responsabilidades

• Assist in preparation of hot food items as indicated by menus.
• Prepare preliminary items for the following day per production cycles.
• Read and interpret production tickets.
• Assist with routine cleaning and sanitation of work areas.
• Assist with serving food according to established workflows.
• Demonstrate knife skills.
• Demonstrate knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper temperature control.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Assists in the preparation of hot food items for all areas as indicated by menu cycles.
• Responsible for preliminary preparation of food items for the following day, as indicated by menu cycles.
• Ability to read and interpret production tickets.
• Assists with routine cleaning and sanitation of work areas.
• Assists with serving food items according to established workflows.
• Demonstrates competency in knife skills.
• Demonstrates knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper temperature control.
• Performs additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: One to three years of experience in high-volume food preparation and cooking within a hotel, restaurant, cafeteria, catering company, government facility, or private institution.
