Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is hiring a Cook I at Lincoln County Medical Center in Ruidoso, NM. The role involves preparing hot foods, menu-based items, and Grab & Go products, plus tray delivery to patients and cashier duties.

The position requires basic food safety knowledge and 1–3 years of quantity cooking experience; High School or GED is preferred. Various shifts and full-time hours are included.

Qualifications

• High School/GED preferred.
• One to three years experience in quantity food preparation.
• Six months institutional cooking preferable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot food items for next day as indicated by menu cycle.
• Fruit and vegetable preparation and food portioning, and other bulk food preparation.
• Assist with preparing Grab and Go and other retail items.
• Routine cleaning and sanitation of all areas.
• Deliver trays to patients.
• Register sales on assigned cash register and provide courteous checkout service.
• Put away orders, dish washing, sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash.
