Clayton Oaks Living in Richmond, TX is seeking a dedicated Cook to join a large senior living community. You will prepare high-quality meals while following health regulations and dietary requirements, in a fast-paced team environment.

The position offers flexible schedules, both part-time and full-time, free meals on shift, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k), holidays, and paid time off. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in a similar position.
• Experience with special diets and large-group meal prep preferred.
• Safe food handling techniques required.

Job Description

Our cooks prepare high-quality meals in accordance with food health and safety regulations, as well as company standards. To be a successful cook, you will be quick and diligent and be able to follow instruction and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining a well-organized and efficient food service department
• Demonstrates a complete understanding of all basic food production skill sets with the ability to perform these error-free and meet the company quality standards
• Prepares and serves attractive, nutritious meals in an organized manner

Qualifications
