Job summary

The Pines of Richfield, a Cassia community, is seeking a part-time Cook to join our culinary team. You’ll prepare meals that nourish residents, and we provide training if you’re new to senior care. Enjoy consistent hours, no late nights, and the daily reward of making a difference in residents' lives.

Location: 400 West 67th Street, Richfield, MN. Shifts include Saturday 10:30am-7:00pm, Sunday 6:00am-2:00pm, Wednesday 10:30am-7:00pm. Wage range: $18-$23/hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ years of commercial cooking/food preparation experience.
• Selected candidates must pass background checks.
• Must be able to read and follow recipes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Must be able to stand for the length of shift.
• Prior dining/serving experience is a plus.
• Baking experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to residents by providing fast, friendly and excellent customer service to all guests.
• Prepare and cook all meals to ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards.
• Observe and report on low stock or high-demand choices.
• Observe and report on resident change of condition or changes in ability.
• Participate in meetings and required training to maintain regulatory standards of food service at the community.
• Inspect kitchen for conformance to government and company safety and sanitation requirements.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Position Type: Part-Time, working a varying schedule including every other weekend

Shift Available: Shift Block(Every other Weekend):

Saturday. 10:30am-7:00pm
Sunday. 6:00am-2:00pm
Wednesday. 10:30am-7:00pm

Wage Range: $18 - $23 / hour depending on experience
