Westminster Communities of Florida in Orlando is seeking a dedicated kitchen professional to prepare quality meals for residents, guests and staff in a high-volume, full-service dining setting. You will follow standardized recipes, work cleanly and safely, and support a cohesive culinary team.

Requirements include a high school diploma, Florida SafeStaff certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days), at least 2 years of dining experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Florida SafeStaff certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of culinary experience in a high-volume dining environment.
• Understanding of basic food preparation methods and safe cooking techniques.
• Proficiency with computer programs including Microsoft Office.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Prepares quality food using quality ingredients for residents, guests and employees. Expanded distinct duties may be attached to this document.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:

• Setup work stations according to established guidelines.
• Prepare all food items in accordance with standardized recipes in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Distributes prepared food to all areas of service accurately and consistent in preparation and presentation.
• Restocks items as needed throughout the shift.
• Cleans and maintains station by practicing good safety, sanitation and organization skills.
• Assist with the cleaning, sanitation and organization of the kitchen and equipment.

• Ability to learn computer programs as defined by Westminster Communities of Florida.
• Willingness to provide a leadership role.
