Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Cook for Legend’s Gold Leaf Dining to prepare nourishing meals from scratch using fresh ingredients. You will contribute to a dining experience that reflects Legend’s high standards for atmosphere and food quality, serving residents and supporting the culinary team.

Applicants should have at least one year of experience in a commercial restaurant and be capable of working in a fast-paced setting with organization, flexibility, and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on assistance with residents' dietary needs and fulfilling special meal requests.
• Prepare meals from the menu plan and assist with the service of meals.
• Maintain cleanliness of production and service areas.
• Inspect work, storage, preparation, and service areas to meet food service standards.
• Follow safe work procedures for injury prevention, food safety, and infection control.
• Label and date all food in the refrigerator, freezer, and dry storage.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and guidelines.
