Job summary

CareCore at Heritage in Minster, Ohio, is seeking a cook to join our dietary team. If you have a passion for preparing meals and want to support our seniors, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities include preparing meals from planned menus, following diet orders, and ensuring food safety. Part-time shifts (10:30am-7pm) with every other weekend availability. Competitive benefits offered to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience preferred, ideally in a healthcare, long-term care, restaurant, or institutional setting.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Dependable with strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Friendly and respectful when interacting with residents, families, and coworkers.
• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays.

• Complete additional duties as assigned by the Director of Dining Services.

Available Shifts

Part-Time Prep Cook: 10:30am-7pm.

Part Time Relief Cook: 10:30am-7pm

Every other weekend is required.
