Job summary

Ivy Living in Milpitas is seeking culinary professionals for evening shifts to create extraordinary dining experiences for residents. Ideal candidates should have line cook experience, passion for service, and a friendly demeanor.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years experience in a fast‑paced line, ideally in a Full Scratch Kitchen.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests.
• Willing to comply with health and safety regulations including vaccination.

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
• Engage with residents and guests to create exceptional dining experiences.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operation.

Job description

Shifts: Evening, 2:00 pm – 7:30 pm, Monday–Thursday.

Pay: $19.50–$20.50 per hour.

Location: Ivy Park of Milpitas, a senior living community managed by Oakmont Management Group.

What We Request

• Line cook experience in a Full Scratch Kitchen or Restaurant
• 2 to 5 years experience on a fast‑paced line, or working a prep cook line station
• Ability to execute flawless dishes in a timely manner
• Ability to communicate with a friendly demeanor to all staff
• Passionate about service to others and creating exceptional food experiences
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
