UMass Memorial Health is looking for a dedicated cook to prepare, store, and distribute hot and cold foods for your cafeteria and patient meals. You will maintain sanitation, follow recipes, and support function events with quality service.
This non-exempt role requires a High School degree, ServSafe certification within a year, and 2 years of culinary training; 3 years of institutional cooking in healthcare is preferred.

$15.00 - $27.00 (based on a full time schedule of 40 hours per week). Please note that the final offer will vary based on scheduled hours. Compensation for part-time or reduced schedules will be prorated based on scheduled weekly hours, experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.

The cook position is responsible for the preparation, storage, and distribution of hot and cold food for the cafeteria, patient meal service, special functions and outside programs. Maintains high standards for sanitation in the production area. On a daily basis, prepares assigned recipes in proper quantities meeting established standards to ensure the highest in customer satisfaction.
