Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience as a Cook, preferably in healthcare or long-term care.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Safe knife handling skills.
• Experience operating commercial slicers, ovens, grills, large blenders, etc.
• Ability to follow instructions for safe use, cleaning and care of dietary equipment, preparation and service areas.
• Compassionate and empathetic nature.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
