Job summary

UP Health System - Portage in Michigan is seeking a Cook to support patient meals and hospital dining services. The role emphasizes food safety, quality, and adherence to HACCP and ServSafe standards in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus 3 years in hospital food service and the ability to obtain ServSafe certification within six months. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

What we\'re looking for

Cook:

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

• Three Years experience in food services hospital setting preferred

• Ability to be ServSafe Certified within 6 months of hire. Also, must re-certify every 3 years.
