Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Cook to prepare and serve nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care setting. You will follow menus and recipes while maintaining quality, taste, and presentation to meet HCSG standards.

This full-time role offers hourly pay of $13.00–$14.00, with benefits including telemedicine, prescription discounts, and employee programs. Strong safety and sanitation practices are required, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work around kitchen

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cook/food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain positive attitude and effective communication with staff and residents.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Must lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• May be required to complete a sanitation/safety course.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification as per state law.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• May be required to complete an approved sanitation and safety course.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required based on State / County law.
• Residency within the service area required
