Job summary

Bell Tower Residence in Merrill, WI is seeking a Cook for on-site, part-time work. You will prepare and serve meals, sanitize equipment, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while supporting the dietary team in delivering high-quality nutritional services.

The role offers shifts including day and evening hours, with every other weekend and holiday coverage. Strong teamwork, attention to dietary restrictions, and routine cleaning are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have good communication skills.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Preferred: Prior experience as a cook in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Operates, cleans and sanitizes food service equipment and work area.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and follows sanitation standards
• Ability to interact appropriately with residents, public and co-workers
• Prepares and serves food according to portion control guides and diet restrictions
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions
• Plans and schedules work day to meet meal deadlines
• Has basic knowledge of special diets and ensure they are served correctly
• Completes all other duties as assigned

Job Summary:

A Cook at Bell Tower Residence will prepare and serve delicious food for the residents, clean and sanitize equipment and work spaces in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. The dietary team relies on one another to ensure we provide the highest quality nutritional services possible.
