Job summary

The Arbor Company is hiring a Full-Time Cook at Opus East Memphis in Memphis, TN. You will prepare fresh, flavorful meals following recipes and dietary modifications while supporting dining operations for our residents.

2+ years of hotel/high-volume kitchen experience preferred; culinary training or restaurant cooking experience is helpful. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities in a supportive, award-winning workplace.

• Prepare fresh, flavorful meals following established recipes, menu cycles, and dietary modifications.

• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Complete required kitchen logs and regulatory documentation.
• Work closely with the Dining Director to ensure smooth meal service and kitchen operations.

• 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Highly Preferred: 2+ years of hotel, high-volume, or line cook experience.

As a Cook, you'll:

• Prepare fresh, flavorful meals following established recipes, menu cycles, and dietary modifications
• Ensure every plate is served with quality, consistency, and care
• Assist with food deliveries, inventory rotation, and kitchen organization
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times
• Complete required kitchen logs and regulatory documentation
• Work closely with the Dining Director to ensure smooth meal service and kitchen operations
• Help create a warm, welcoming dining experience for our residents every day

We'd love to meet you if you have:

• 2+ years of hotel, line cook, or high-volume kitchen experience (highly preferred)
• Culinary training or restaurant cooking experience
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, portion control, and commercial kitchen operations
• Experience preparing meals for special diets or senior living communities is a plus
• Experience with large-batch cooking (100+ meals) is preferred
• A positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a passion for serving others
