Job summary

Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation’s Boys & Girls Club in Mayetta, KS is seeking a cook to prepare meals for members and staff, plan menus, and document meal-related reports. The role supports daily operations and requires reliable, timely food service.

Minimum experience includes 1–2 years cooking for large groups; a HS diploma or GED is required, with CPR/First Aid possible within the first week. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits.

Qualifications

  • One to two years of cooking experience for large groups and meal recording.
  • High School diploma or GED. Ability to obtain CPR & First Aid certifications within first week of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and cooks food for Club members, employees, and visitors.
  • Plans menu, cleans up after meals, orders food, and compiles necessary reports.
  • Assists in other areas as needed.

Pay Range: $16.91 - $19.45

  • Offering rate will vary within the listed salary range above. *Supported by the Department budget & related experience/education*
