Job summary

Trilogy Health Services in Louisville, KY, seeks a Cook to prepare and serve high-quality meals for residents, following planned menus and dietary guidelines. You will ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met while delivering a positive dining experience for residents and families.

As part of the Food Service team, you will assist with inventory, store food properly, and support staff when the manager is unavailable. The role emphasizes teamwork, quality, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years similar cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh scratch-made meals using a recipe for residents according to planned menus and dietary guidelines.
• Assist the Food Service Manager with inventory control and ordering supplies.
• Properly store food and kitchen supplies to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
• Supervise and support Dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable.
• Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and ensure all kitchen cleaning tasks are completed.
• Prepare and stock snacks and standard pantry items for resident areas.
• Utilize technology and computerized systems to efficiently and safely create a great dining experience for our residents and families.
