Job Overview:

The Cook is responsible for preparing food according to planned menus, adhering to food storage guidelines, and reporting safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School diploma
  • Experience in high production food service

Preferred:

  • 3-5 years grill/high volume experience
Scheduling Requirements:
  • Rotating weekends and holidays
  • Per Diem
Essential Functions:
  • Follows all recipes to conform with dietary restrictions
  • Handles raw and cooked products according to sanitary guidelines
  • Adheres to dress code policy
  • Maintains personal hygiene according to sanitary guidelines
  • Ensures food is ready in a timely manner by maintaining proper production schedules
  • Performs sanitation duties as assigned
  • Prepares food according to the planned menu
  • Stores all prepared foods properly using the FIFO system
