CookOverview:
This position will be responsible for cooking large volumes of food for events such as meetings and weddings as well as preparing items for an a la carte kitchen. They are responsible for reading food tickets, banquet event orders for specific needs of events. Assisting the Executive chef in ordering, preparing inventory and any food preparation needed. Must have a working knowledge of food sanitation, nutrition, and allergies cross contamination.
Responsibilitiesinclude:
Ensuring the kitchen and prep areas are set up and stocked.
Prepare meals in a timely and professional manner.
Compiling and assessing inventory, report discrepancies to management.
Maintaining and following all health and safety guidelines.
Time management skills.
Problem solving skills.
