Lemont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lemont, IL, is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare and serve meals according to planned menus in a healthcare setting. This full-time role requires collaboration with the dietary team and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.

As a on-site Cook, you will maintain a clean kitchen, assist with tray-line setup, and ensure timely delivery of meals to residents while communicating effectively with residents and staff.

Formación

• Ability to collaborate with the dietary team and maintain a positive working environment.
• Availability to work scheduled hours, including weekends and holidays
• Recent experience as a Cook in a healthcare environment (preferred)

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and serve daily meals in accordance with resident dietary needs and preferences
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
• Assist in setting up the tray line and ensure timely delivery of meal trays to patient areas
• Work in the dish room and maintain high sanitation standards
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and team members to ensure meal satisfaction
