Job summary

Stratosphere Gaming, LLC seeks a dedicated Cook to support high-volume kitchen operations in our Las Vegas properties. You will prepare dishes per standard recipes, ensure proper storage, rotation, and labeling of ingredients, and maintain a clean, organized workstation throughout your shift.

You will assist the chef with food preparation and menu execution, uphold food safety standards, and work as part of a team to deliver outstanding guest service in a fast-paced gaming environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of cooking experience in high-volume or fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure.
• Strong knife skills and safe use of kitchen tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items according to standard recipes or supervisor directions.
• Ensure proper storage, rotation, and labeling of ingredients for freshness and safety.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation during the shift; perform general kitchen cleaning tasks.
• Assist the chef in food preparation, menu execution, and product placement.
• Ensure compliance with gaming laws, internal controls, and procedures as applicable.
