Requirements

1. Must have the ability to read, write, follow verbal instructions, and perform basic arithmetic.
2. Experience: One-year experience in a customer service or food service position. One year of cooking experience similar to SBMC is preferred.
3. Physical: This is a safety-sensitive position. Please see the St. Bernards Substance Abuse Policy for further information. The role involves working in a hospital environment with occasional exposure to heat, steam, and cold. Must have normal or corrected vision and normal hearing. Ability to distinguish tastes, smells, and temperatures by touch. Uses food preparation equipment. Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs, and frequent standing and walking.
