Job summary

Rydal Park & Waters, a premier Life Plan Community located in Jenkintown, is hiring a Full-time Cook to join our team. You will prepare meals from scratch for our fine dining restaurant and resident services, ensuring quality and sanitary standards are met.

We offer a $500 sign-on bonus, a pay rate of $17-20 per hour depending on experience, and shifts including every-other weekend (11a-7p and 6a-2p). Join HumanGood to help residents thrive with great meals and caring service.

Qualifications

• Scratch cooking experience is required.

Rate: $17-20 depending on experience
This position requires every-other weekend availability. Shifts are a mix of 11a-7p and 6a-2pThe Cook’s primary objective is the preparation of food items to ensure high standard of quality and quantity to meet the needs of the residents. You would be handling food in accordance with sanitary standards and recognized food preparation standards. Rydal Park prides itself on offering only the best of the best when it comes to service and care for our residents. This includes all food created by our team. Cooking meals from scratch for our fine dining restaurant as well as our assisted living and skilled nursing departments, we are looking for experienced cooks to add to our team.
This Position Is For You If You Have

• Scratch cooking experience (must have)
• Fine dining experience (must have)
• Always looking to gain knowledge from your cooking experiences
• Care about the quality of food you create and offer
• Understand and properly follow sanitizing procedures
• Culinary education preferred
