Job summary

Parkhurst Dining is seeking a Cook to join Eat’n Park Hospitality Group’s Parkhurst team. You’ll prepare food per Parkhurst recipes, uphold batch cooking standards, and help maintain presentation and temperatures throughout service.

Ideal candidates are physically able to stand/walk all shift, lift up to 40 lbs, and communicate clearly with line staff. The role offers benefits, growth opportunities, and a friendly, value-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume kitchen is preferred.
• Ability to follow Parkhurst recipes and batch cooking methods.
• Strong teamwork and communication with line staff

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to Parkhurst recipes and maintain batch cooking.
• Ensure food quality and maintain temperature and presentation during service.
• Ensure proper line presentation and use of correct utensils per recipe specs.
• Maintain open lines of communication with line servers about food items daily.
• Complete daily production sheets.

• Prepare food according to Parkhurst recipes and also enforce the “batch” cooking method.
• Ensure the quality of the food produced and maintain the quality and quantity of food throughout the service period, utilizing production sheets.
• Ensure proper line presentation: proper pans are used, pans are garnished, proper utensils are used according to recipe specifications, and food products are maintained at the proper serving temperatures as specified by recipes or management.
• Maintain open lines of communication with other associates, e.g., line servers, concerning specific information about food items on a daily basis.
• Complete daily production sheets.
