Job description

Bring your cooking talents and kitchen management skills as a Cook at Bright Horizons. You'll plan menus, prepare meals, and order inventory as you make a real difference in the lives of children, families, and staff.

Anticipated Hours: 11am - 1pm Monday - Friday

As a Cook, you will:

1. Plan and prepare nutritionally balanced meals for children and staff.
2. Keep an accurate inventory of supplies and place orders as needed.
3. Manage all aspects of prepping and preparing meals, as well as cleaning and complying with sanitation requirements.

Requirements:

1. Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements.
2. At least 18 years of age with a high school degree or GED required.
3. Relevant experience working in a licensed child care center, public school, or commercial kitchen required.
4. Food service / food handler permit required (ServSafe Certification).

Compensation Range: $12.50 - $15.25 / hr
