Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Goleta, CA is hiring a Cook to prepare meals, manage food service operations, and ensure safe, sanitary kitchen conditions in an institutional setting.

As a Cook , you will prepare all food items, manage food services operations, and ensure that the food service area remains clean, orderly and sanitized in an institutional setting. You will follow federal and state guidelines in the planning, preparing and serving of meals to individuals served.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing, serving, and transporting meals
• Maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen
• Ensuring all dishes and utensils are clean
• Following a planned menu with special dietary needs outlined by a dietitian
