Job Summary

Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations, following established policies and procedures. Ensures high-quality food service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes to meet production, delivery, and service schedules.
2. Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring proper portioning, correct temperatures, and attractive presentation. Tastes all prepared food items.
3. Uses established ticket collection procedures during service. Responsible for records from the area worked during service periods.
4. Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen after preparation and serving, storing or discarding excess food per safe food-handling procedures.
5. Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized. Ensures proper storage of food and supplies.
6. Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
7. Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required.
8. Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
9. Reports maintenance issues, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately.
10. Attends safety and in-service meetings.
11. Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
12. Adheres to safety standards and maintains a clean, safe work environment.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
14. Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures, following HACCP standards.
15. Commits to personal and team safety.
16. Follows all company policies, including safety protocols such as using gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
