The Bungalows at Fayetteville is seeking Cooks to join their team!

Job Details
  • Reports to: Food and Beverage Director
  • Shift: Mon-Fri; Every other weekend required
Purpose

The Cook is responsible for all food preparation to meet quality, quantity, and service standards, ensuring compliance with sanitary procedures and regulations. Manages food production in the absence of the Lead Cook or Food and Beverage Director.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Preparation and Food Service
  • Prepare and serve meals, maintain sanitation, record keeping, inventory, and regulatory compliance
  • Follow menus and standardized recipes, prepare special dietary needs, and texture-modified foods
  • Ensure food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards are met
  • Operate dishwashing and sanitizing equipment according to standards
Record Keeping and Resident Services
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident information
  • Record temperatures and production quantities, rotate menus
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Culinary training preferred
  • At least 1 year of food preparation experience, including therapeutic diets
  • Current SERV Safe sanitation certification or ability to obtain it
