Job summary

Atria Senior Living - Woodbriar Place in Massachusetts is seeking a Cook to support our residents with nutritious meals and meals prepared in a restaurant-style atmosphere.

Join our kitchen team and build positive relationships with residents and staff while maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of cooking experience in hospitality or healthcare, a valid food handlers permit, and the ability to follow recipes and logs.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of cook experience in hospitality or healthcare.
• Food handlers permit as required by state law.
• Ability to read recipes, guides, cleaning schedules and logs.

Responsibilities

• Join the kitchen staff in preparing and cooking food for residents.
• Build positive relationships with residents, employees and coworkers.
• Maintain the kitchen in a clean, safe and sanitary condition at all times.
• Understand that dining in the restaurant-style atmosphere can be the highlight of our residents’ day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• One (1) to three (3) years of experience as a cook in a hospitality or healthcare environment
• Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or Company standards
• Ability to read and follow recipes, guides, cleaning schedules and logs

The wage range for this position is $22.00/hr - $26.40/hr, dependent on prior work history and experience
