Job summary

Bricktown Brewery in Enid, OK is seeking a Cook/Kitchen Prep to join our fast-paced kitchen team. You will use the correct tools and equipment, follow Bricktown Brewery recipes, prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensure orders are cooked to order with consistent flavor, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

You will assist with prepping ingredients, stocking kitchen supplies, managing inventory, set up kitchen equipment, verify stock, clean cooking equipment, manage the flow of food

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and verbal communication skills are required.
• Must be able to multi-task and work with others as a team.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

• Prepare and cook a variety of quality dishes, following Bricktown Brewery’s recipes and standards.

Job description

Location: Bricktown Brewery - Enid, OK.

Compensation: $14-$16 per hour, dependent on experience.

As a Cook/Kitchen Prep person, you will be responsible for:

• Using the correct tools and equipment to prepare all items.


• Following Bricktown Brewery recipes and specifications for each menu item.


• Prepare and cook a variety of quality dishes, following Bricktown Brewery’s recipes and standards.

Duties of this position will also include:

• Set up of kitchen equipment.

• Cleaning of cooking equipment.


• Managing the flow of food orders.


• Following sanitation and safety standards.

Requirements of this position include:

• A good sense of balance, the ability to multi-task, lift up to 50 pounds waist high and stand for long periods of time.


• A qualified applicant must have basic reading, writing, and verbal communication skills, and the willingness to work with others as a team.


• The ability to exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 8 hours in length.


• This position also requires you to use motion that entails bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, stretching, and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists.
