National Health Care Associates—Riverside is seeking a Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents in a caring, compliant environment. The role emphasizes dietary adherence, quality, and teamwork within a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience as a Cook, preferably in healthcare or long-term care.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Safe knife handling skills.
• Experience operating commercial slicers, ovens, grills, large blenders, etc.
• Ability to follow instructions for safe use, cleaning and care of dietary equipment, preparation and service areas.
• Compassionate and empathetic nature.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality food preparation, presentation, and portion control.

As a Cook on our team, you will prepare and serve appetizing meals while ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met. Your culinary skills will contribute to creating a positive dining experience that enhances the quality of life for our residents.

Qualifications of a cook include:
