Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living is seeking a dedicated part-time cook in Cheektowaga, NY to provide restaurant-style dining and excellent culinary service. You will prepare meals per recipes, ensure safety and compliance, and support residents with dietary needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year cooking experience in hospitality or healthcare setting.

• Provide high-level culinary customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menus.
• Adhere to state, federal, and company guidelines.
• Ensure nutritious, appetizing meals are presented attractively.
• Offer appropriate snacks for residents with special dietary needs.

• Participate in preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and approved menus
• Adhere to state, federal, and company laws, regulations and guidelines
• Ensure food is prepared in a nutritional, appetizing fashion, and presented in an attractive manner
• Ensure that appropriate snacks are available to residents with special dietary needs

Cook Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a cook in a hospitality or healthcare environment required.
