St. James Manor & Villas in Illinois is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare and serve meals per resident dietary needs in a healthcare environment.

The role requires maintaining a clean kitchen, supporting tray line operations, and upholding sanitation and safety standards while collaborating with the dietary team. Weekend and holiday availability is required, with full-time hours and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Formación

• Recent experience as a Cook in a healthcare environment is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and serve daily meals in accordance with resident dietary needs and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
• Assist in setting up the tray line and ensure timely delivery of meal trays to patient areas.
• Work in the dish room and maintain high sanitation standards.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and team members to ensure meal satisfaction.

We are seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare and serve meals according to the planned menu in a safe, sanitary, and efficient manner. The Cook will ensure compliance with facility, OBRA, federal, state, and other regulatory standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Cook Requirements:
